I was very fortunate to be able to travel to Germany last November to work on my research. I met wonderful friends and family and was able to trace my families back into the 1600's & 1700's. I also visited many villages where my ancestors lived. My German ancestors came from the northern area of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
